Founded by [Karabo](https://www.linkedin.com/in/karabo-kayak-9aab7653/) in partnership with Scroll, Africa's Blockchain Club (ABC) is a vibrant community dedicated to fostering blockchain education, innovation, and adoption across the African continent.

Things really took off on March 23rd, 2024, at WeThinkCode\_ with a class that sparked significant interest among students from WeThinkCode\_, the University of Johannesburg (UJ), and the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT).

Our primary objective is to establish a robust community that facilitates the learning of blockchain technology and fosters collaboration on various projects. Through a series of workshops, hackathons, and networking events, we provide opportunities for blockchain enthusiasts to learn from industry experts, collaborate on projects, and explore the limitless possibilities of decentralized technologies.

Whether you're curious about blockchain or a seasoned pro, there's a place for you in our community.

Join us as we pave the way for blockchain innovation in Africa and beyond!
